Confessions of an Impatient Person

I am an impatient person.  I admit it.

I’m not proud of it.  I take no joy in it.

But I might as well be honest about it.

I think this is the problem:

I care too much about getting the job done and too little about the people doing it.

There, I said it.

That’s awful, isn’t it?

I know.  It is.

I’ve really got to change that.  I really want to change that.

In my heart I care more about the people than about the tasks they do, but somehow that isn’t coming out in my actions, my words, my expressions.

Got to get a handle on that.

I will get a handle on that.

But geeze it’s taking an awfully long time!

Wait…
